Robert O’Hara
Director

Robert O’Hara received his Directing MFA from Columbia University School of Arts and has become an accomplished screenwriter, playwright and theater director. Robert has written films for the likes of Martin Scorsese, HBO and Spike Lee. In 2010, he received the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding New Play for Antebellum , an OBIE Award for his Direction of the World Premiere of the critically acclaimed In The Continuum and is now nominated for an 2010 NAACP theater award.

Los Angeles based producer Effie T. Brown received a degree in film production and theater from Loyola Marymount University before going on to participate in Film Independent’s (formerly IFP/Los Angeles) Project Involve. There she received an invaluable introduction to the film industry and quickly worked her way up through the ranks to become the award winning producer of such films Stranger Inside, Real Women Have Curves, Everyday People, In the Cut and Rocket Science.
